Services General Rules

Below are the terms and conditions that apply to each of the services we provide. By using any of these services, you agree to comply with these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

Freelance Services

Our freelance services include custom development work and project-based collaborations. These services are paid and are subject to the following terms:
  1. Service Description
    We offer various freelance services, including but not limited to web development, app development, design, and IT consulting. The scope of the project will be discussed and agreed upon before any work begins.   2. Pricing
    The cost for freelance services is based on the complexity, scope of the project, and deadline. A detailed estimate will be provided after the initial consultation. Payment is required before the project begins, and the final payment will be due upon completion of the project.
  3. Payment Terms
    Payments for freelance services are to be made through our designated payment method. In case of delays or non-payment, we reserve the right to pause or terminate the project until payment is received.
  4. Changes and Revisions
    Any significant changes to the project scope after the initial agreement may result in additional fees. Minor revisions are typically included in the original scope, but we reserve the right to charge for major changes or extensions.
  5. Delivery and Timelines
    We will provide an estimated timeline for the completion of your project. While we strive to meet the deadlines, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, and we will communicate any changes to the timeline promptly. The turnaround time it takes me to complete a project can vary greatly. At the beginning of the discussion, we will discuss many things including the processing time agreed upon by both parties. However, we make sure to provide progress to the client and the client is also authorized to directly see the progress of the application and even make corrections or errata.
  6. Freelance Service Flow
    Here’s how the process for freelance services works:
    • Initial Consultation: The process begins with an initial consultation where we discuss your project requirements. During this stage, we review your needs, goals, and preferences. This may take place via email, phone, or video call. To make it easier for me to work on the application, you might be able to provide a display of the application that you have designed through the application design platform. If the design is very comprehensive, cost reductions may occur.
    • Proposal and Agreement: Based on the consultation, we will prepare a proposal outlining the scope of the work, timeline, and cost estimate. Once agreed upon, we will formalize the agreement through a contract that outlines the deliverables and milestones.
    • Project Kick-off: After the agreement is signed and the initial payment is made, the project begins. We will start with the planning and development stages, keeping you informed along the way. In this phase, you are able to see the progress of application.
    • Regular Updates and Communication: Throughout the project, we provide regular updates to ensure everything is progressing according to plan. We maintain open communication and are available to address any questions or concerns you may have.
    • Review and Feedback: Once the first draft or prototype is ready, we will share it with you for review. Your feedback is essential for refining the project. Any necessary revisions will be made to meet your expectations.
    • Final Delivery: After completing all revisions and ensuring the project meets the agreed-upon requirements, we deliver the final version. At this point, the remaining balance is due. You will receive all relevant files, documents, and deliverables.
    • Project Closure: After the final payment is made, the project is officially closed. We will provide ongoing support as agreed upon, and you can reach out if you need any post-project assistance.

Course Services

Our course services are paid learning resources designed to help you develop skills in various fields, such as programming, web development, and IT. The following terms apply to course-related services:
  1. Service Description
    I provide freelance services in various areas, including web development, app development, design, and IT consulting. As the sole instructor and freelancer, I work directly with clients to deliver quality work tailored to their needs. Each project is thoroughly discussed beforehand to ensure we align on expectations, scope, and deliverables.
  2. Pricing
    The cost for course depends on the course, duration, and complexity of the material. A detailed estimate will be provided after the initial consultation. Payment is required at the beginning of each month for the upcoming month’s services. Range of payment can be seen from my Sribulancer page or this website service page
  3. Refunds
    If you are dissatisfied with the course, you may request a refund within a specified period after purchase (typically 7 days). After this period, no refunds will be issued.
  4. Refunds
    Once payment is received, you will receive access to course materials. Access to the course may expire after a specified duration, depending on the course's terms.
  5. Intellectual Property
    All course materials are copyrighted and owned by Johansen Sagala. You are not permitted to share, copy, or distribute the course content without permission.

Technical Support Services

Our technical support services are offered at no cost and are intended to assist you with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to your software, website, or application. The following terms apply:
  1. Service Description
    We provide support for various technical issues, including bug fixes, troubleshooting, and general inquiries regarding your system. Support may be provided via email, chat, or other communication channels.
  2. Availability
    Technical support is available during business hours, and response times may vary depending on the complexity of the issue. We do not guarantee immediate resolution but will strive to assist you as quickly as possible.
  3. Limitations
    Technical support services are limited to issues related to systems and applications developed or maintained by us. For applications that we did not develop, we may be able to help, but there is no guarantee that we can completely solve the problem. We do not provide support for third-party software, hardware, or other unrelated services.
  4. No Cost Guarantee
    Technical support is free of charge, but excessive or ongoing issues may be subject to review. In such cases, we may recommend moving to paid services for more specialized assistance.

Consultation Services

Our consultation services are designed to offer advice and guidance in the fields of software development, IT infrastructure, and related areas. These services are mostly free, but in certain cases, paid consultations may be required depending on the complexity of the request. The following terms apply:
  1. Service Description
    We provide one-on-one consultations to address your specific needs. These consultations may take place via phone calls, video meetings, or email exchanges, based on your preference.
  2. Availability
    Consultation services are available upon request and will be scheduled based on availability. For more extensive consultations, we may recommend a paid session.
  3. Pricing for Extended Consultation
    For consultations that require more time or specialized expertise, a fee may apply. You will be notified in advance of any costs associated with extended services.
  4. No Guarantee of Success
    While we provide advice based on our knowledge and experience, we do not guarantee specific outcomes or results from the consultation services.
General Terms for All Services
Modification and Termination: We reserve the right to modify or terminate any of the services listed above at any time. You may be notified in advance of any changes.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of these services.
Limitation of Liability: Our liability for any damages resulting from the use of our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service that caused the damage.
